With over 25 years in the construction industry,  With MetroCity, LLC since its inception in 2001, Tony has developed, implemented and led programs to grow the company’s sales, revenue and profit. This includes creating a strategic plan, hiring new employees, evolving the company’s structure and systems to accommodate growth as well as integrating a fresh corporate culture.  Tony has been s staple in the organization. He is responsible for the oversight of of all departments and there efforts, to include financial, tax, risk and facilities management; human resources management; community and public relations and strategic planning.

Prior to starting MetroCity, LLC in 2001, Tony’s experience included working with some major construction firms in the Houston area.

As a Controller, setup all operations and accounting systems for a firm that grew to 1,000 employees and over 100 million dollars annually. Led the creation, organization and implementation of a financial management system including the conversion to a new Project Management/Accounting software system.  Responsible for general ledger entry of insurance, fuel, and other indirect expenses. Handle all aspects of job costing from job inception and completion.  Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.  Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.  Responsible for job cost budgets and analysis.  Reviewed, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.  Assist in the implementation and modification of accounting systems and accounting control procedures. Reconciled schedules of equipment to revenues and tracked equipment utilization,

As Risk Loss Manager, Tony was responsible for the health, safety and welfare for over 20 multi-facited job sites statewide.    Additionally, he created and implemented a comprehensive Risk Management program that included: Hazard Communication, Confined Space, Excavation, Fall Protection and a Motor Vehicle Policy,  He coordinated, implement and presented training classes at all employee levels.
